Members, money and the till
What is an EPOS system for a golf club?
It is one till for the pro shop, the bar and the halfway house, taking card, contactless and Apple Pay, and putting a sale on a member's account rather than in a book. At a club it must also know the day: the guest fee and the competition entry belong to the same sale as the sleeve of balls.
The facts
- Integrated point of sale for pro shop, bar and halfway house.
- Member accounts, tabs and monthly statements.
- Contactless, Apple Pay and card.
- Stock control, purchase ordering and low-stock alerts.
- Split bills, tips and gratuities, end-of-day cashing up and reconciliation.
- Receipt printing on thermal printers, rendered by Paralo's own document renderer so the slip carries the club's typography.
- Xero and QuickBooks integration, with revenue and profit and loss by department.
How Paralo does it
One till, two counters. The pro shop rings the competition entry, the guest fee and a dozen balls in one sale and prints it. The same slate switches to the bar, seats that group off the tee sheet and closes their table, and Finance stands beside it with revenue by department.
