The member app
Does a golf club member app give GPS yardages?
Yes. The in-round view is Paralo's own vector map of the club's course, drawn from the club's survey, with front, middle and back yardages, hazard carries, tap to measure and pin placement, all measured from where the member is standing.
The facts
- Paralo draws each club's course from its own survey GeoJSON, with its own pipeline.
- The in-round view is the vector map by default, with satellite as an opt-in.
- Play-direction-up hole, heading cone, hazard carries, tap-to-measure with a provenance line, pin placement.
- The Apple Watch shows distances to the green and to hazards from the wrist.
- The same course pack renders in ClubOS Today, on the till, on the clubhouse displays and in the member app.
How Paralo does it
We draw a club's course from its own survey, then send the same map to the office, the till, the clubhouse screens and the member's phone. One map, drawn once, everywhere it is needed, and yardages measured from where the member is standing rather than from the middle of the fairway.
